CHARTER POLICIES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing YACHT STAR 305. Our goal is to provide every guest with a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience. Please review the following policies carefully before your reservation.
DEPOSITS & REFUNDS
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Once your deposit is submitted, your selected yacht and reservation time are removed from availability for other customers. Your deposit may also be used toward captain, crew, docking, scheduling, and other reservation-related costs.
If you cancel your reservation for any reason, your deposit cannot be refunded.
We understand that unexpected situations happen; however, reserving a yacht requires us to commit the vessel, captain, crew, and reservation time specifically to your party.
BOAT CHANGES / UPGRADES / DOWNSIZING
Once you reserve a specific yacht, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to switch, upgrade, or downsize to another vessel.
Most vessels have their own reservations, schedules, captains, crews, and associated fees. A boat change may only be possible if another vessel becomes available.
Deposits paid toward one vessel cannot automatically be transferred to another yacht or owner.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
Every vessel has a maximum passenger capacity based on applicable boating laws, regulations, and vessel requirements.
DO NOT ARRIVE WITH MORE GUESTS THAN YOUR RESERVATION ALLOWS.
If your group exceeds the permitted capacity, the captain may refuse or cancel the charter. No refund or additional time will be provided.
ARRIVAL TIME
PLEASE ARRIVE 15–30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED DEPARTURE.
Your charter time begins at the time listed on your reservation — not when your group arrives or boards the yacht.
Late arrival will reduce your time on the water. We cannot extend your charter or provide a refund/credit for time lost because members of your party arrived late.
If you notify us that you are running late, the captain may be able to wait for you; however, your original reservation time will continue to run.
Captains are generally unable to wait more than 1 hour after the scheduled departure time. Failure to arrive may result in cancellation and loss of your deposit.
RESCHEDULING
We do not accept same-day or last-minute rescheduling requests. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for eligible rescheduling requests.
If you cannot attend your reservation and do not qualify for a reschedule, your reservation may be canceled and your deposit forfeited.
WEATHER
Weather-related decisions are made based on whether conditions are safe for the captain to operate the vessel.
If conditions are considered unsafe and the charter cannot operate, your deposit may be transferred to an available future date.
Weather-related cancellations do not qualify for a cash refund.
Guests traveling from another city who must reschedule because of qualifying weather conditions may have up to one year to select an available replacement date.
VESSEL SUBSTITUTION / UNEXPECTED ISSUES
Boats are mechanical vessels, and unexpected maintenance or operational issues can occasionally occur.
If your reserved vessel becomes unavailable because of a last-minute mechanical, safety, or operational issue, we may offer an appropriate replacement vessel or reschedule your charter based on availability.
FOOD & DRINKS
You may bring your own food and beverages unless otherwise stated for your particular vessel.
Please help us keep the yacht clean and dispose of all trash properly.
CLOTHING & SUNSCREEN
We recommend bringing sunscreen and appropriate clothing for your charter.
Please follow any footwear or clothing instructions provided by the captain or crew.
SMOKING & HOOKAH
Traditional charcoal hookahs are NOT permitted.
Traditional hookahs create a significant fire and burn risk aboard yachts. Electric hookahs may be permitted.
Smoking may be permitted in designated outdoor areas, depending on the vessel. Never smoke inside the yacht or near upholstery, cushions, or other areas that may be burned or damaged.
If you are unsure whether something is permitted, please ask us or your captain before using it.
Any burns, stains, excessive cleaning, or other damage caused by your party may result in additional charges.
TOILET RULES
DO NOT PUT TOILET PAPER, WIPES, FEMININE PRODUCTS, PAPER TOWELS, OR ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS IN THE MARINE TOILETS.
Please use the designated disposal bins. The captain/crew will review restroom procedures before departure.
If misuse by your party causes a toilet blockage or damage, a $200 fee may be charged.
SAFETY WHILE THE BOAT IS MOVING
When the yacht begins moving, please remain calm and follow all instructions from the captain and crew.
Guests may be asked to remain seated until the vessel reaches a safe location.
The captain has final authority regarding the safe operation of the vessel. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in the charter being ended early without a refund.
IDENTIFICATION
Please bring valid identification in case it is required by the captain, marina personnel, law enforcement, or the U.S. Coast Guard.
ALCOHOL & GUEST CONDUCT
We want everyone to enjoy themselves, but please drink responsibly and behave appropriately.
Dangerous, destructive, threatening, or excessively disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. The captain may terminate a charter if a guest’s behavior creates a safety risk to the vessel, crew, passengers, or others.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service when possible.
Parking may also be available near the marina depending on your departure location. Please allow enough time for traffic, parking, and walking to the vessel.
ACCIDENTS & PERSONAL SAFETY
Boating involves inherent risks, including movement of the vessel, wet surfaces, waves, slips, trips, and falls.
Guests are responsible for following all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew.
DAMAGES
YOUR PARTY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE VESSEL OR ITS PROPERTY DURING YOUR CHARTER.
Damage caused by guests may be charged in full, including reasonable repair, replacement, cleaning, or related costs.
Please treat the yacht as you would your own property.
MISSED RESERVATIONS
We are not responsible for personal circumstances that prevent you from arriving at the marina, including transportation problems, traffic, missed flights, personal emergencies, or other circumstances outside of our control.
If you miss your reservation, your deposit remains non-refundable because the vessel, captain, crew, and reservation period were held specifically for your party.
COVID-19 / ILLNESS
Illness involving a member of your party does not automatically qualify the reservation for a refund or reschedule.
Any exception or accommodation must be approved by management and is subject to availability and the terms of your reservation.
VESSEL OWNERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
YACHT STAR 305 works with yachts within our fleet and may also manage or arrange charters aboard vessels owned or operated by third parties.
When applicable, you may receive an additional charter agreement from the owner or operator of the specific vessel. That agreement must be reviewed and signed before departure.
